
The Immersion Track is designed for children 4 to 17 years old who do not speak French at home. In this track, classes are one hour and a half long and homework assignment should be take between 30 minutes and 1.5 hour per week.
Immersion Track

Beginners Kids

Children learn by playing and singing basic vocabulary such as animals, colors, etc.

5-6 years old
The goal is to discover everyday letters, sounds and words

Pre-Juniors
6-7 years old (K-class suitable for non-French speakers)
The goal is to learn simple letters and syllables and to practice everyday vocabulary
This class is not currently open. Classes open at the beginning of the school year (end of August) with a minimum of 4 students per class.

Juniors 1
6-10 years old (CP / 1st grade suitable for non-French speakers)
The goal is to learn to read

8-11 years old (CE1 adapted to non-French speakers)
The objective is to develop oral skills and continue the reading effort.
Students can prepare for the DELF A1.1 Prim exam proposed by the Ministry of National Education within the Alliance Française de Phoenix

Juniors 3 (Delf A1 Prep)
9-11 years old (CE1 adapted for non-French speakers)
The objective is to improve oral expression and develop writing (conjugation in the present tense)
Students can prepare for the DELF A1 Prim exam offered by the Ministry of National Education at the Alliance Française de Phoenix

This class is not currently open. Classes open at the beginning of the school year (end of August) with a minimum of 4 students per class.

Juniors 5 (Delf A2 Prep)

This course is similar to the French 5 course in American high school
The goal is to prepare for the AP French Language & Culture exam
Students will be able to take the DELF B2 exam offered by the Ministry of National Education at the Alliance Française de Phoenix.
